Masons everywhere have a very special place in their hearts for the men and women that are serving in our Armed Forces – after all, these are the soldier citizens that guarantee our freedom.
On Saturday, February 6th, the Brattleboro Masons (in Brattleboro, Vermont) are holding a ‘photo shoot’ for any family member of a serving man or women – if your family member is serving anywhere in the world – from Baghdad to Seoul to Ft Campbell, KY - they are away from you - they are away from home!
Come to the Brattleboro Masonic Lodge on Main Street, Brattleboro between 10:00AM to 2:00PM and the Masons will take your picture, e-mail it to your loved one – and maybe we can help to brighten their day.
Bring the grandparents, the grandkids, even the cousins and Aunt Tillie - pets are invited (as long as they’re well-behaved, leashed, caged or carried – and you pick up any indiscretions and no reptiles, please).
The Masons are doing this now, just in time for Valentine’s Day. We must have a valid e-mail of your Armed Forces person.
There is absolutely no charge, the Masons are just glad to help. They will graciously accept donations, all of which will all go the Yellow Ribbon folks and the Aid to Armed Forces families program.
