Kevin Anderson and Grand Marshal Mitchell Holden both of Vermont Lodge #18, looking on. Bro. Holden was presented his Daniel Carter Beard award at the District 1 Meeting in October, '04, and Bro. Anderson is a holder of the Silver Beaver Scouting award for Meritorius Service. The presentation was made at a stated communication of United Brethren Lodge.

New Master Mason, Chris Fletcher and W.M. Ronald Purdum of Friendship Lodge #24 in Charlotte. The Masters of the District 5 Lodges worked the MM Degree in Charlotte and raised Bro. Fletcher as a Master Mason. Dinner preceded the degree which was performed in an excellent manner.
